If this is my country
Then, where is my home?
If this is my country
Then, where is my freedom?
If this is my country
Why am I silenced?
When I speak up?
If this is my country
Why am I dying of hunger?
If this is my country
Why am I dying of thirst?
If this is my country
Why am I dying cold-blooded?
If this is my country
Why then it isn't safe for children?
If this is my country
Why then is it unsafe for girls?
If this is my country
Where are the law and justice gone?
For its been far too long.
If this is my country
And it's rich why am I poor?
If this is my country
Why do I have to prove it to others
Just by a piece of paper or card?
If this is my country
Let me breathe and make it not
More difficult than it seems today
For there will be no one left
To be in a country like this.
This is my country
My heart, mind, and soul tells me so
To wake up and fight and learn to roar.
