The Ocean of Tears
Somewhere in this world,
A sixth ocean forms,
slowly filling with my tears,
One day, it will be the largest of all, holding all my sorrows and fears.
When you go fishing or diving for treasures,
you'll find the depths of my pain,
In the vast, sorrowful sea that sorrow built,
from my tears like rain and constant strain.
An ache so deep from parts of my brain
that connected each part of my body like a long train
An unsung song to myself would be known
from the ocean of tears that form.
It will sing me to sleep in the darkest of nights,
with silent waves and no guiding lights.
And maybe one day, if someone should care,
they’ll find a message I left floating there.
