Weary and Worn

Weary and worn by life's endless fight,

Drained to the core, fading from sight.

Yearning for darkness, a silent retreat,

Frustrations build, dreams taste bittersweet.

Unseen burdens weigh heavy each day,

Living feels lost, a role gone astray.

In shadows I wander, seeking dawn's ray.

I'm worn down by life's relentless strain,

Drained and fearing I'll lose my way.

Longing for peace in the quiet unknown,

Frustrations rise, dreams left alone.

Desires linger, yet life feels unkind,

Burdened by shadows of a weary mind.

In this darkness, a glimmer I hope to find.
